Reading Challenge – 2019 – Read 60 Books

It’s “put up or shut up” time! I want to learn, grow, and improve myself in all areas of life. Plus, I’ve run across a few articles — and books — that state that the average CEO reads 50 – 60 books per year. As such, this is what I would like to do: read 60 books in 2019.

Welcome to my 2019 Reading Challenge blog post!

2019 Reading Challenge: It’s “put up or shut up” time! I want to learn, grow, and improve myself in all areas of life. Plus, I’ve run across a few articles — and books — that state that the average CEO reads 50 – 60 books per year. As such, this is what I would like to do: read 60 books in 2019. The “Goodreads Reading Challenge” inspired me to take this “dream” and work to make it a reality.

How Am I Going to Accomplish This?

Given the fact that I have a full-time job, am a father, and I want to have a life, it will be challenging — at least — to read the number of books that I want to read.

To help to overcome this challege, I am doing two things: (1) reading when I commute and at night, (2) listening to audiobooks at 2.5x – 3x speed, and (3) using the “Wordrunner” speedreading feature on Kindle.

Goal: 60 Books

  1. Money – Master The Game, by Tony Robbins
  2. The 10X Rule, by Grant Cardone
  3. All The Leader You Can Be, by Suzanne Bates
  4. The Automatic Millionaire, by David Bach
